Self-Service Rental Expectations

Studio rentals are self-service. This includes setting up light(s), backdrops, changing backdrop roll colors, lighting modifiers, swings, props, etc. You can purchase Photoshoot Assistance for $30/hour for us to assist you with these things during your photoshoot.

Rental Time Expectations

We recommend arriving at our studio on time for the start of your booking. If you arrive early, please wait outside the studio until your scheduled time. This policy is in place to show respect to other photographers and their clients during their paid rental time.

Rental time begins promptly at the reserved starting time and ends promptly at the reserved ending time, regardless if renter and/or renter’s party is late. Rental time includes load-in, setup, photoshoot session, tear down and cleaning. You should not be shooting until the end of your rental time. A good rule of thumb is to stop shooting 10 minutes before your rental time ends to return items to their original placement. The studio must be cleaned and vacated by the scheduled end time and no later, please consider this when booking your rental. Other photographers may be right behind you on the schedule, please be courteous and have the area ready for them.

We have a 5 minute grace period, if you are 6-30 minutes late you will be billed $25 as we bill in 30 minute increments. If you would like to extend your rental time, please speak with studio management and we will accommodate if available.

Housekeeping & Cleaning Expectations

We expect you to leave the studio as you found it. If cleaning/re-organizing/adjusting is necessary to return the studio to its original state, you may be charged a $30 cleaning fee. This includes backdrops, lighting, chairs, props, scissors, tape, trash on floor not placed in trash can, etc.

Studio Use Expectations

Studio may be used for photography, videography or similar, with the exception of those activities that require, but are not limited to, the use of specialized ventilation, chemicals or flammable props. Studio may only be used for legal business activities.

Occupancy Limits

Maximum of 10 people per stage area. If you would like to have a shoot larger than 10 people, it is considered a party rental and the entire studio can be rented out (up to 50 people) for $100/hr.

Damage Expectations

You are 100% liable for any damages to the studio during your session. Each renter assumes full responsibility for any damage caused to any part of the studio sustained during the renter's scheduled studio time. Each renter agrees to pay in full for repairing or replacing any item or structure damaged by the renters or by performers, collaborators, or guests invited to the studio. Full payment for damage must be made within 14 days of the damage. Renters also assume responsibility for any damage that results from the renter's employees, contractors, clients, and any and all of the renter's visitors during their rental period.

Inclement Weather

If weather causes a valid travel warning restriction, the studio will be closed for everyone’s safety and rescheduling will be issued for all shoots during the travel warning timeframe.

Prop Use

Do not drag props and furniture across the floors. Pick them up and move them properly to avoid damaging the studio. Return all items to their original location when finished.

Miscellaneous

No prior drop-off and/or pick-up after completion of rental, of equipment, props, etc. unless negotiated prior to rental. Additional fees may apply.

What if my client is late to the photoshoot I scheduled?

We are not responsible for your clients being late, we are responsible for reserving the space, equipment and time that you have reserved. We recommend you charge a deposit large enough to cover the rental fees and your time.

You and your associates assume responsibility and waive liability to any self-inflicted harm while utilizing the studio space.
